The Burekup Cricket Club was founded in the 2003/04 season on the back of a handful of players. Having a family friendly and social focus, Burekup has achieved great success on and off the ground winning 6 Premierships whilst growing our club with a great mix of players, supporters and local sponsors.
In the 2020/21 season we had 2 senior and 3 junior teams representing the Club as well as providing the entry-level Woolworths’ Blast Program to help develop the local talent and to continue the traditions of the Burekup Cricket Club well into the future.
In 2019 the club suffered a tragic loss of a club member, in their honor a Blue stumps game day has been held to uphold the spirit of competition and more importantly to promote healthy conversations around mental health. Since the innaugural game, 13 other clubs around Australia have taken on a similar inniative.
Burekup Cricket Club also support the Pink Stumps day contributing to the brilliant work done by the McGrath foundation.
